Description

The Moebius Expedition Overseer(MEO for short) is the head of the entire Moebius operation aboard the Eris. Also ensures the Agreement between Moebius and the other factions is enforced to the letter. He delegates his medbay responsibilities to the Moebius Bioloab Officer who takes care of the day to day medical treatment of the crew; This allows for a focus on advancements in Research.

Guide

You are the head honcho in the Science Department! That means that all of your employees under the research division will be paid directly out of your departments account. Maintain a steady balance lest your own staff lose faith in your abilities to pay them.

Your main responsibilities include directing the research efforts of the Scientists and Roboticists; and fulfill those duties in their abscense. You will start in the main bridge conference room with the other heads of staff. Feel free to chat with colleagues and listen to the captains agenda. You have an office in the bridge with a locker; as well as another office inside of the Moebius research area.

The most important thing to find in your locker is the Harpoon hand teleportation device. There is one in your bridge office, and two more of the devices in your research office. These will let you teleport yourself to any location, and teleport anything towards your current location. Watch the battery life and don’t end up in space!

The other important piece of equipment is the AMI RIG hardsuit which can be found in your research labs office. Put it onto your backpack slot and press “deploy hardsuit” in the IC tab. This RIG is custom fitted with an Alden Sarsparova radiation scanner for anomalies and optical mesons. It also has a filtration system for clean oxygen which means you will not require an oxygen tank to use it EVA. This piece of armour will protect you from many environmental hazards and other types of damage.

Tips

• Look around your office to find some extra things such as some circuit boards and a Personal AI unit. You may wish to use these things for research as they can net quite a bit of points.
• You have access to the research departments’ funds. Find the account number and pin in “Notes” in the IC tab. *Use the EFTPOS Scanner found in your office to charge directly to your departments’ bank account.
• Charge for everything that’s not considered medical service. If we at Moebius were allowed to charge for that as well; we would.
• You have your own shuttle in the Department. The MEO should accompany any expeditions beyond the ship and encourage further exploration.
